Have any of you ever tried building a big mound of sand....Either underwater or just on the beach?
You know when you first start out its all so easy, you just dump the sand and well look at that its a mound, and it gets bigger! You go on piling on this sand a little bit more and you're still seeing it grow, you see the difference. Then 5 minutes into the process you realize your throwing on this sand and it just slides to the bottom, your mound isn't growing any bigger. You start getting angry because your progress is so slow and you throw so much sand and nothing happens, or if anything the progress is so little compared to the amount of work you did you figure its just not worth it anymore.
Thats what life is like, life is like building that stupid sand mound. At first its so easy, every little handful of sand you throw on top makes such a different. Once the easy 5 minutes of your life are over, when you start just throwing that sand on as fast as you can just to see if it will make any difference at all...thats when you start thinking "what does it matter, whats the point".
Hopefully it'll all make sense one day..Hopefully we'll all figure out that we cant just add things to our life, we cant just put things on top, we have to add to the whole, from foundation up. And of course the bigger the mound the more foundation we're going to have to add....
